5 Home Remedies for Nail Fungus

Concentrations up to 25% and 50% may also help cure infections.

If you apply pure tea tree oil (100%) twice a day to nail fungus, it can improve the appearance by 56% after three months of regular use, and up to 60% by the end of six months.

How to use:

  • Apply a small drop of tea tree oil on each nail affected by fungus, two to three times a day maximum.
  • Avoid taking this oil orally because it can cause severe side effects

Apart from its culinary uses, salt also possesses antifungal properties that canheal your nail fungus.


  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 5 drops lemon juice

How to use

  • Moisten the salt with a few drops of lemon juice and apply directly to the affected nail.
  • Allow it to work for 30 minutes, then rinse off.
  • You can repeat daily.
