Practice yoga

Yoga helps to keep stress at bay. Women who experience harsh economic conditions is likely to experience early menopause and stress, according to a study conducted by the Boston University School of Public Health. Other studies have also linked chronic stress and raised levels of stress hormones like cortisol which may cause early menopause. Easy yoga poses you can practice include chair pose, standing forward bend, side-angle pose, and others.

Consuming vegetable protein can reduce your risk of early menopause, according to a study conducted at the University of Massachusetts Amherst and the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. The study recommends that women should have vegetable proteins such as beans, nuts, cereal, quinoa, tofu and soy products.

Also, foods rich in phytoestrogens (natural compound found in plants and plant-based foods), should also be consumed by women because these foods helps women trying to rebalance their hormones as they approach towards menopause.

Avoid smoking

Both active and passive smokers may experience menopause 1 to 2 years earlier than women who don’t smoke, according to a study published in the British Medical Journal. Smoking can damage your cells and since your ovarian follicles.
